Liu MeiFeng ~ 柳 妹鳳
Liu MeiFeng, the second figure from Good Smile Company and Red Entertainment Shuraki Trinity series was release recently. I got mine earlier this week, and she’s definitely worth the time I spend camping for her pre order to open at Hobby Search. My first impression of her when I saw the prototype months ago was she looks like Shampoo from the anime Ranma 1/2. She’s also probably the most moe of all the girls in the series, really cute ^^. She’s my second favorite at this time, my favorite being Shall, but she’s not release yet so that might change.
As with the rest of the figures from the series, she comes with drama CDs, an illustrated booklet and extra clothing for battle damage look. Her base is made to look like moss covered stone and she’s attached to the base using a rod and a peg. The rod is inserted through her right leg, not sure how long is the rod but it should keep her from leaning. She’s sculpted by Takayuki Kawahara.
I really like the design of her Chinese dress, a combination of traditional design and sexiness ^^. It’s a pain to remove though, and even more so when you want to put it back on.
The paint work and sculpt quality is good, except for some seams that can be seen on her hair. Also when I remove her clothing for the photo shoot, her stomach area has some paint residue, not sure if it’s from her cloth though. Fortunately it’s hidden even if I put the battle damage clothes on her.
Her weapons are some sort of rounded blade, suitable for close combat in combination with martial arts.
Just got to love the detail on the hair and the way it flow, twin tails ftw ^^.
She have a very moe~ face ^^. Love it.
Don’t have the right materials for a nice diorama this time, so I just added a Chinese sword as prop for the battle damage shots.

MeiFeng is pretty much sold out now, but there’s still a chance to get her in April next year when she’s re-release. I really wish there’s a translation on the background story of the Shuraki Trinity series, as well as more information on the characters as they all seems quite interesting.

Another lovely Shuraki figure. Her pose is really dynamic, figures now are getting more dynamic, that explains the raise of their prices.
The support leg must be made of ABS which is much stronger than PVC and doesn’t warp. The hair could be a bit more brighter it looks a bit glossy. I love her dress, so full of color and life.
Sweet figure, gratz on managing to get her, really sweet pics as well that makes me wish I have this figure ^^;
GSC really produces such awesome figures don’t they? =D I love the way her weapons were painted for this figure. Simply fantastic!
Indeed she is the cutest among all Shurakis.. But the battle damage look isn’t quite as sexy as I thought

I love the poses for these figures, very cool. The sculpt is very nice and realistic looking.

First time I saw her I really really wanted to get her, searched everywhere and camped pre-orders, but only managed to get a copy at one store which a tad slow so I’ll get my copy prolly after xmas ;_;
Awesome photos, I was worried that the quality might not be as gorgeous as the promotional photos I’ve seen but I guess I got nothing to worry about if you’re great photos are anything to go by XD

quite interesting figurine, I like her dynamic pose, maybe I’ll get one when she gets re-release april next year
@Belela-san~the leg also have a rod as support. The hair color is actually lighter
, i do find her normal costume sexier than the battle damage one
