Next weekend, Saturday 26th, me and few local figure collectors will be displaying our collection at the MAGe Festa, held at Nilai International University College, so do come and support us ^^. Just look for the booth with a lot of figures XD.

@lu-k~this is just a small event, we are just there for fun. Well you can get a few collectors together and work out something

@Belela-san~there are probably other collectors in your area, should get together and form a community
Normally people here only tend to get together in anime conventions but mostly it’s only around cosplay and most of the people are “ignorants” cause they watch very few series being them Naruto and Bleach, so I try to avoid these sorts of meetings.
Actually, I am working on it ^^
But if this should happen, this would not be before autumn ’08 I guess, during a small event near where I live.
Will try to contact staff from biggest events, which take place (most of them) in the capital (Paris), but I am rather sceptical hehe ^^
Anyway, gathering people who share the same passion isn’t very hard, but going further is another story.
@Belela-san~yeah cosplay is still the main attraction in this sort of convention, but at least there’s more variety here rather than just Naruto and Bleach

@lu-k~We started off in a small event as well, just to get some exposure. It’s a good thing most of the event are held in Kuala Lumpur as we don’t want to travel too far, logistic is a nightmare. Wow Paris, that will be nice but transporting your collection there won’t be easy I think. There’s quite a number of collectors here as can see from local forum, but then whenever we organize a gathering only a few will show up

I don’t know how long conventions in your region last, but here it is always for 2 or 3 days.
Oh buy the way, since I and some friend are preparing something, may I ask you what did you use last time at Comic Fiesta to build that multi-level presentation. I mean, what was under the white cloth ? ^^
@lu-k~Now i just bubblewrap each figures and put into a big box for transportation, all weapons, etc for the figures is kept in another box ^^
Most are just one day, some are 2-3 days, but we usually only display for 1 day, too troublesome if more than that.
Hahah we have HS and HLJ boxes under it to build the multi-level display ^^.

Actually, we may have a chance to experiment figure exposition in a convention, in March *yeah*
So, with two friends of mine, we have started to think about how we would organise such an exhibition, with multi-levels, and using only boxes seems a bit tricky, especially for the transport of all the boxes =_=;
One car wouldn’t be enough… rahh logistic is such a nightmare indeed ^^
ohhh March that’s great, we might have something in March as well, but nothing is confirm yet
yup there was quite a number of boxes, some are cut in half for the lower tier. some of the boxes are the one we use to transport figures, we couldn’t think of anything easier to use than boxes actually. A wooden tier will be too big and heavy to transport, so in the end boxes is the best we can think of.
haha yeah one car is definitely not enough, for us we go in 2 cars, logistic is really a nightmare XD
